The Lusail vs. Al Ahli match is scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026, at Al Thumama Stadium at 5:15 PM.

Assistant coach Ashkan Dejagah began his remarks at the press conference by saying, "The team is preparing well for the upcoming Al Ahli match. Lusail will be mentally and physically ready for this encounter. I believe the team performed well in the previous match against Al Rayyan, despite the 1-0 loss, especially against a strong team like Al Rayyan."

He continued, "The results of the first round of the Doha Bank Stars League demonstrated the strength and close competition in the league. Therefore, we understand the importance of being fully prepared for a tough match against Al Ahli."

The coach concluded his remarks by addressing the Lusail Club fans, saying, "Having our fans behind the team in the stands gives the players an extra boost, and their support can make all the difference."

For his part, Lusail Club's first-team player, Ali Malallah, confirmed the team's readiness to face Al Ahli, emphasizing that the goal of the match is to achieve a positive result and make up for the previous Al Rayyan match.

Speaking at the press conference, the player said, "Lusail Club's start in the Doha Stars League wasn't what we hoped for, but we are constantly improving and developing, as was evident during the second half of the Al Rayyan match.
