Lusail Sports Club was established in 2017 as one of Qatar's sports clubs founded in line with the State's vision to broaden participation in sport, identify and develop talent, and strengthen the role of sport in national development.

Since its establishment, the Club has been committed to building an integrated institutional sports framework founded on professionalism, good governance, and sustainability. Particular emphasis is placed on developing football teams across all age groups and contributing to the development of players capable of representing Qatar's national teams. The Club also seeks to strengthen its role within the community through initiatives and partnerships that serve society and support the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
